Meta’s Messenger team wanted to create sticker packs that delighted users around the world—but humor doesn’t always translate. The challenge was crafting expressions that felt funny, friendly, and relevant across diverse cultures and pop references.
To help, we partnered up to design a series of playful, universally relatable sticker packs—balancing wit, emotion, and visual clarity. The result: stickers that spark joy and connection no matter where, or who, you’re messaging.

HOW DO WE CREATE UNIVERSAL JOY?
Meta wanted to bring more personality and emotion to Messenger through animated stickers—but designing humor and expression that feel universal across cultures is no small task. The challenge was to create characters and emotions that could resonate globally without losing charm, clarity, or humor in translation.

We partnered with Meta to design a series of animated sticker characters that captured the full spectrum of human emotion—each crafted with a balance of global relatability and playful personality. Through expressive animation, smart simplification, and culturally neutral humor, we built a visual language that connects people everywhere—no words needed.
