Offf Barcelona Design Conference

2026 Titles

Do something first. Do something that’s never been done. Do something that won’t be done with surprise ever again. These were the questions, the vision & our delight to embark on this.

Laundry had the honor of bringing the 2026 conference titles for OFFF Barcelona to life—reimagined, for the first time, as a large-scale projection mapping film on the facade of the Barcelona Design Museum (Museu del Disseny), where the festival takes place each year.

The challenge was multifaceted. With nearly 55 titles, the runtime stretched beyond traditional expectations. The sheer scale of the projection demanded a rethinking of resolution, pacing, and frame rate to fully harness the power of the projectors. But the most critical question was this: how do you design for an entire city—for both its residents and its global audience? Because at this scale, screens don’t just display—they transform space. And what works on a monitor doesn’t translate when it’s experienced across the surface of a building.

The Backstory

Offf is a place where we celebrate our vulnerabilities, our wins, our losses, our hunger & our passions together. It’s a happy place. Where we get inspired, discover, discuss, and challenge each other and ourselves to challenge creativity. We question how we can make our industry better. Stronger. Fresh and more creative. Where we ask ‘What if?’ Where we celebrate each other’s wins. Where we can proudly say, it was made by us.

The Inspiration

“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.”

-Steve Jobs

Our biggest inspiration, much like the branding, was to celebrate creatives and the process of creativity in all of its shapes and forms. The rebels. The misfits & the conformists alike. There is no one way. No clean way. No single way to be creative. All of our differences are what make us.

Visual Inspiration

The Concept

The exciting anticipation of what if? Experimenting creatively with a kernel of an idea. Getting lost in the craft. Trying, failing, trying again. The highs and the lows. The ‘it’s great! It sucks’ loop. And then, getting to the joyous destination. The happy place. Where everything comes together. This is what it means to be creative. And the exact same thing as going to be part of a community.

Adding a post-modern twist, this journey is the concept and storyline of the titles.

The Visual Starting Point

Led by an amazing brand concept by the Uncommon Studios team, the starting point is that creativity and design conferences alike are made up from the community of creatives, quite literally. None more vibrant and passionate than the Offf community.

The Twist

As we started exploring what this could be, we quickly realized, in our very rebellious way, that a celebration of creativity can’t have rules. Loving the process is the only rule we set for ourselves. Which to us, meant visually experimenting and letting the unknown become the language.
