The Visual Strategy
To help educate creators and solve this challenge effectively, we collaborated to help Snap convey a lot of information, clearly, simply, and confidently. The design solution is Snap brand-centered, simplicity married with visual consistency.
The Result
Our creative outcome leaned into Snap's brand values and tone, favoring a more sophisticated yet easy-to-absorb brand language rather than a juvenile twist on the school metaphor. We leaned into Snap's fonts, colors, and graphics, grounded in a grid to generate confidence through consistency. We also developed an icon system, expanding the Snap Ghost into a world of emotional stickers, harkening back to in-app stickers as touch points to add play and emotion to every point across the brand system.

Even the most seasoned creators benefit from learning all the new tricks and techniques of using Snap. And there are so many more tools than anyone even knows. Which brings us to Snap School. An internal brand within Snap whose goal is to help educate. On stage, virtually, socially & more.
The Challenge
Creators have shorter and shorter attention spans and sophisticated tastes. And a surprising amount of social media-savvy creators haven’t even the tip of the iceberg of how much they can do with Snap. It also takes an army to educate them. Often, making even branding and brand communication a lot of work.
